Autumn Creatures and Crafts at the Welsh Wildlife Centre

Autumn Creatures and Crafts at the Welsh Wildlife Centre

Come and visit the Wildlife Trust’s Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve and Welsh Wildlife Centre in beautiful West Wales this autumn. We’ve planned exciting activities and hands on fantastic events for the half term school holidays.

Dare you take on our Halloween/Nos Galon Gaeaf Quest?

Can you help us protect the nature reserve from spooky spirits and creepy creatures? Search the trails for special seasonal ingredients to create a protection potion then add them to our cauldron at the visitor centre. Earn yourself a prize and save us all from those pesky phantoms!

Available: 10am-3pm Saturday 26th-Sunday 27th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st October. £5 per child includes activity, mask and soft toy prize.

Join us from Wednesday 30th October- Friday 1st November for....

Face painting and a variety of seasonal craft sessions will be running during these dates, including making mini-beast homes and bird feeders, clay modelling, slate painting and Halloween crafts.

*Check out our webpage and Facebook page for further details and how to book.

The nature reserve and visitor centre are free to enter with just £4 to pay for all day parking.

The reserve has a variety of trails to explore, many of which are accessible. There are bird hides to look out for the resident kingfishers and otters and a children’s natural play area for them to run off excess energy. Dogs are welcome on the reserve if kept on leads and please do use the dog bins for disposing of dog waste.

After all this activity, why not visit The Glasshouse Café for delicious food and drinks? Seating is available indoors or outside overlooking our beautiful reed beds and woodland, stunning in their autumn colours.

Remember that any money you spend with us goes towards the conservation of precious habitats and maintaining the reserve. Thank you for your support!
