What's on at the Welsh Wildlife Centre this Easter

Find the perfect Easter event this April at the Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes.

We have a variety of nature inspired outdoor activities to help you to connect with wildlife over the school Easter holidays. Events include exploring tiny mini-beasts under rocks and in the pond, searching for reptiles and amphibians ,and spotting the many birds that make their homes here on the nature reserve.

Easter themed crafts as well as clay modelling and slate painting will be happening in the afternoons. Over the bank holiday weekend there will be a spring-themed self-led trail around the nature reserve with riddles to solve and a prize at the end. Whatever you are looking to do, be it hands on nature fun or creative expression you’ll find it here at the Welsh Wildlife Centre and the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve.

Some of the activities have limited availability so to be sure of your place email g.taylor@welshwildlife.org or phone 01239 621600 Weds-Sun between 9:30am-3:30pm to book.

The visitor centre and the nature reserve are free to enter with just £4 to pay for all day parking. The reserve has a variety of trails to explore, many of which are accessible. There are bird hides to look out for the resident kingfishers and otters and a new children’s natural play area for them to run off excess energy. Dogs are welcome on the reserve if kept on leads and please do use the dog bins for disposing of dog waste.

After all this activity, refuel in The Glasshouse Café with our range of delicious food and drinks. Seating is available indoors or outdoors, overlooking the beautiful reed beds, river and woodlands. Why not visit the Gift Shop whilst you’re here and pick up a cracking souvenir of your trip. Did you know that we also have an online shop? Check out the WTSWW online shop this spring with a host of great ideas for making the most of your walks in the spring sunshine. We’ve FSC guides on a range of subjects from Butterflies to Spiders; Wildlife Trust concise guide books so you can improve your knowledge of Trees or Fungi and more. Our WTSWW Kingfisher design Tee Shirt proudly shows this iconic bird seen regularly here at the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve.

Any money you spend with us goes towards the conservation of precious habitats and maintaining the reserve.
