WILDWords Poetry Competition
Our 2023 WILD Words Poetry Competition is now closed. Read the winning poems.
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) are organising a poetry competition to celebrate World Poetry Day (21st of March). We want to read all about what nature means to you, your experiences with nature, and why nature is important. Entries are welcomed in both Welsh and English. Submit your entry to be in with a chance to win Dan Rouse's new book 'The Children's Book of Birdwatching', as well as a selection of other inspiring children's books. The winning poem will be published on our website, as well as featured in our monthly enewsletter, and on social media.
There will be 2 categories - under 12 years old, and 12 to 16 years old, and the winner will be announced on the 21st of March.
Go WILD for World Poetry Day and write a poem about nature!
