Music for Wildlife!

Music for Wildlife!

Join us and composer Paul Shallcross for a truly enchanting musical evening at Brecon Cathedral.

We can't think of a more impressive setting than the beautiful and historical  Brecon Cathedral for this fundraising event for WTSWW!

On 24th August, composer Paul Shallcross, is performing music he has written celebrating three famous journeys by Johann Sebastian Bach, William Hutton and Robert Louis Stephenson.  Paul on piano will be joined by Louise Wood (mezzo-soprano) and Paul Woods (flute).  The journeys will be narrated by Paul Sinnadurai and Stuart Hulse.

Paul does not charge for admission to his concerts but requests people make donations to a charity.  For this concert he has chosen the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, saying  ‘although walking hasn't anything specifically to do with a Wildlife Trust much of the walking that is done in this area is done in areas abundant in wildlife but often wildlife in need of protection’.

Our People and Wildlife Officer, Pauline Hill, will be on hand to spread the word about WTSWW and our work during the evening,
