About the event

A two mile walk led by our Brecon WTSWW Wildlife officer, Pauline Hill. This is a stiff walk uphill with a couple of stiles but you will be rewarded with great views of the town and the surrounding countryside and we will be looking for interesting bird life and wax caps. Bring drink and snacks, layer clothing and appropriate footwear. Dogs welcome on lead if they can manage the stiles. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Directions: to meet at the well, proceed from Brecon Town centre, head towards Brecon Cathedral and up Pendre (B4520). Turn left into Dan y Crug and immediately right into Maes y Ffynnon. There is a small parking area on the right, before you get to the new development.
