Birch shieldbug
Enw gwyddonol: Elasmostethus interstinctus
As its name suggests, the birch shieldbug can be found feeding on silver birch, and sometimes hazel, in mixed woodland. Adults hibernate over winter, emerging in spring to lay their eggs.
