Information For Skomer Commercial Operators

Please see below information for current Commercial Operators on Skomer Island in 2025.

Please note that we are currently reviewing the scheme in time for the 2026 and aren't taking new Commercial Operators at the moment. If you have already booked a trip with paying guests for the first time in 2025, please contact skomer.vo@welshwildlife.org.

Who Needs To Be A Commercial Operator?

Any business who operates commercially (takes payment from clients) on Skomer must register as a commercial operator with the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales as it is an NRW (National Resources Wales) requirement.  We also hope that by registering your business and signing up to our Code of Conduct, we can ensure that your clients have a memorable and positive visit to Skomer.

Please note that commercial enterprises, organisations or businesses who have not registered with us and signed our Code of Conduct will not be allowed to operate on Skomer Island. We are currently reviewing the scheme in time for the 2026 and aren't taking new Commercial Operators at the moment. If you have already booked a trip with paying guests for the first time in 2025, please contact skomer.vo@welshwildlife.org.
