The Lancashire based artist has recently joined us as a WILDFundraiser. Steph is passionate about birds and uses her artwork to draw attention to the plight of birds on the red list.
Each sculpture is handmade meaning no two pieces are alike. She uses a mix of materials, often recycled, as well as driftwood that she gathers from her local coastline.
She is an ambassador for Curlew Action and uses her sculptures to raise money for curlew conservation. In addition to this, Steph is creating a series of puffin sculptures to raise funds for Skomer Island’s seabirds.
Steph said, “I am delighted to work with an organisation which places conservation at its heart and has the knowledge and expertise to educate me and thereby give my work more authenticity.”
