Monday 16th October 2023. Booking opens for non-members of The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales to book either island.
Please note all bookings are taken by phone. You can email islands@welshwildlife.org to book if you are deaf or hard of hearing.
There will be a queuing system on the telephones and we expect high volumes of calls so there are likely to be long wait times.
Please have your membership number to hand when calling, this helps to speed up the process and enables us to answer more enquiries.
Skomer
- Skomer has 5 rooms. 2 twins, one 3 bed, one 4 bed and one 5 bed mixed sex dormitory.
- We always advise to have a choice of dates (maybe up to 3) when making a booking, as your first choice will frequently be unavailable.
- Changeover days are dictated by the boats (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) so stays are for 2, 2 and 3 nights only. We do not offer one night stays on Skomer.
- The twin rooms between mid-April and the end of July will book very quickly indeed.
- The accommodation on Skomer is oversubscribed, there are more people wishing to stay than there are available beds.
Skokholm
- Skokholm has 4 single and 8 twin/double rooms.
- Only two boats per week for the majority of the season on a Monday and a Friday dictating stays of 4 or 3 nights respectively.
- Mid May to the end of June, one boat per week on a Monday with a stay length of 7 nights.
Please do call us if you have any queries regarding either island.
