Meet at the main carpark in Cwm Rhaeadr for 1pm. We aim to return to the carpark by 4pm.

About the event

The walk will be around 3.5 miles, following forest tracks and footpaths through a mixture of woodland habitats found within Cwm Rhaeadr.

The walk will be led by Squirrel Project staff, and along the route we will discuss the work of the Mid Wales Red Squirrel Project.

Refreshments will be provided approximately half way around the route.

The overall assent of the route is approximately 170m, and some sections are quite steep.

What to bring

Some areas of the paths will be muddy, so appropriate clothing and footwear will be required.

Parking information

Meet at the main carpark in Cwm Rhaeadr. Additional parking is available to the side of the track on the way to the carpark.
