About the event

This is an exclusive opportunity to join Dr Toby Driver and Louise Barker, both senior archaeologists at the Royal Commission, Wales, on a guided archaeology tour of Skomer Island. Louise and Toby have led several excavations on the island over the past decade. Along with PCNPA Community Archaeologist Tomos Jones, we will take a 2.5 hour walk taking in the best preserved prehistoric roundhouses on the island and will visit Bronze Age burial cairns and standing stones. There will also be an opportunity to hear a talk given by Toby and Louise at the Farm.

Please note that this event is suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

There are two steps for booking:

  1. Visit the PCNPA website to book your £10 ticket for the event,
  2. Once booked, head to Pembrokeshire Islands and book a ticket for the 10am boat on 4th September - this is £30.
