Ynglŷn â'r digwyddiad

A highly topical talk by Andy King, County Bird Recorder, focusing on Curlew, our largest wading bird with the most haunting call.

Curlews are known as bioindicator species, or “umbrella species” meaning that if we protect them, a range of other species and habitats will benefit as well. They represent the overall health of an ecosystem.  With a breeding population in serious decline, Andy will detail why and how the local conservation work is so important.

The hall is fully accessible for those with mobility issues.  There is a public car park 50m from the hall.  No spaces are marked for wheelchair users and unfortunately we are not able to reserve spaces.  If you need a wider space it is advised that you arrive early.   Members of the group will be at the hall before the stated time.
