Be Our Guest - Parc Slip Visitor Centre and Café is Now Open!

We are delighted to announce that our Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) Parc Slip Visitor Centre and Café opened its doors after almost two years of being closed on Saturday 29th April 2023 and received over 500 hundred visitors during its opening weekend!

The Visitor Centre and Café has a fantastic new team, mouth-watering menu, and an extremely excited atmosphere! The new menu also caters for a variety of dietary requirements and the Parc Slip Plaits (vegan & meat options), Cakes and Cupcakes are already a huge hit with visitors.

Gina Gavigan, Marketing and Development Manager at WTSWW said, “The entire Visitor Centre team were over the moon by the sheer volume of support we received over the opening weekend. It was a pleasure to welcome Cllr Huw David, Leader of Bridgend County Borough Council, Cllr Jane Gebbie, Deputy Leader of Bridgend County Borough Council and Chris Elmore MP to celebrate the opening with us. We are also going to be introducing an excting new programme of  leisure activities and WILD events for the Visitor Centre so watch this space!”

The Visitor Centre is just 5 mins off J36 M4 and has a large free car park. It’s based at WTSWW’s Parc Slip Nature Reserve, which is home to over 1,000 species of wildlife.

Our opening days and times are:

  • Wednesday to Sunday 10am – 4pm.
  • Closed on Monday and Tuesday, except Bank Holiday Mondays.
