About the event
Once the site of a coal mine Ystradfawr Nature Reserve has been reclaimed by nature.
The area has been managed as a nature reserve since 2010 and has a fantastic variety of species, some quite rare.
Join staff from The wildlife Trust of South and West Wales along with experts to discover as many species as possible in one day.
No previous knowledge required, just enthusiasm to search and a willingness to learn.
Meet by the metal gate in the corner of Ysgol Golwg Y Cwm car park. If you arrive later than 11am, please follow the WTSWW event signs
Wear clothing suitable for the forecast and sunscreen. Also bring food and drink for lunchtime.

Dogs
While dogs are allowed on the paths through the reserves this activity is not suitable to have dogs around people trying to find species.
