About the event
Our Accessible Boat Trip events are now fully booked. If you'd like to be contacted about future accessible events, please complete this online form.
Join expert local guides on a FREE two hour cruise around beautiful Skomer and Skokholm. Due to the steps and rough terrain of Skomer, access is not possible for many people. This opportunity is designed for disabled people and carers/ companions. It is a chance to enjoy the islands’ spectacular seabirds and geology. You may even spot some dolphins or seals along the way! One ticket will cover one disabled person and a carer/companion.
Our Accessible Boat Trips are running on the following dates:
- Monday 13th May 10am
- Friday 17th May 2pm
- Friday 14th June 11am
- Wednesday 26th June 10am
Cruises last for two hours and are limited to ten visitors per boat. The boat leaves from Dale, where there are disabled parking spots, a floating pontoon and wheelchair access to the boat. Disabled toilet and changing facilities are available at the embarkation point. There is no disabled toilet on the boat.
This series of events is a trial as part of our efforts to make the islands more accessible. We will be collecting feedback about every stage of the process to allow us to learn and improve.
